After posting my review of my disappointing experience with the birthday cake, I was contacted by the leadership of Patty’s with a very thoughtful and kind follow-up. Every organization makes mistakes. How they respond to them is what separates the good from the great. I salute Patty’s for their response and commitment to ‘making things right.’ We will most certainly be ordering again. Bravo, indeed. P.S. As I mentioned in my original review, the gluten-free cake was amazing! The irony is that the only ones who had the cake did not have gluten issues, but it was incredible.

I live on the east coast contacted Patty’s Cakes for a delivery of a 21st birthday cake for my daughter who attends college in the area. I ordered a semi-custom double layer round cake – vanilla cake with strawberry mousse filling. The online ordering system was very easy and I chose a 10 am to 1 pm delivery window. On the day of the delivery, I got emails when the cake was being prepared and when the driver was on the way. My daughter got a text that the driver was on the way. The delivery to her dorm was seamless. Most importantly, the cake was beautiful and delicious! Thank you!

It’s so much fun ordering delivery for family and friends for birthdays from Patty’s Cakes! Its such a tasty surprise for their special day. Having to be socially distanced as changed a few things but I am so happy that Patty’s Cakes offers a delivery option so we can still celebrate those we love with the tasty deserts we enjoy to. They were also able to deliver within the time frame I needed. My mother in law was able to receive it no issues and called me happily surprised right away. Everything with the delivery option worked out great along with placing the order online. Very happy, will be doing this again for future celebrations! Thank you so much.

Last minute birthday cake + vegan cupcakes! I was searching all over to find a birthday cake on a Friday night when I stumbled across Patty’s Cakes on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I purchased a red velvet cake and vegan cookies and cream cupcakes to try. Everyone was so happy with my purchase. Non-vegans approved of the vegan cupcake as the cake was moist and perfect! Nothing too sweet or overpowering which is exactly what we were looking for in a cake. I have already been back a few more times for more vegan cupcakes and will continue to do so as well as share to those that are looking to support this delicious spot! Can’t wait to try more! :) Give Patty’s Cakes a try and see for yourself! Staff is kind and extremely helpful. It is easy to find and the pink interior is sooo pretty! Free street parking is available right next to the shop or there is a small lot behind their storefront.

We’ve never tried Patty’s Cakes before. My daughter purchased it for my birthday. The cake was very light and moist. The filling and frosting were creamy and not overly sweet. Everyone enjoyed the cake and It just might become my favorite go to bakery.

It’s was my wife’s 50th Birthday. I was looking for a place to get a nice looking cake that tasted great. Patty’s was the place! I looked for best cakes in Orange County, a few places popped up but none had better reviews. The ordering and pick up was super easy. My wife loved her cake!

Since I am the cake baker in my house, my family usually scrambles at the last minute to find a good cake for my birthday. This year, my sister ordered a cake from Patty’s, and it was wonderful! Delicious, fluffy cake, light tasting buttercream, and perfectly sweet raspberry filling. The decoration was classically simple and perfectly done. It is definitely the best cake we’ve ever ordered! I will definitely order from Patty’s again.

Wowowow! Philip and the Patty’s team came in clutch with some absolutely delicious cupcakes, cake and cake balls! This place is the epitome of a well-oiled machine that has adjusted to the current times. Last minute, we decided to have a drive-thru birthday for our son to stay safe and wanted something tasty to have for family who stops by. We ordered Patty’s online on Friday night and were able to schedule delivery for the very next day. That’s not even the best part!! I got a phone call from Philip the next morning to discuss my order to make sure they got everything right and I was ordering what I needed. It was a great conversation and super helpful. Being even more last-minute, I called him an hour before my delivery time to see if I could add more to my order and he was super accommodating to allow me to do so. About 15 minutes before my delivery, I got a notification that my driver was on the way with a link to track the status. I met my masked driver out front and she was super sweet! The items were packaged beautifully and exactly what we ordered. On to the baked goods themselves, I don’t know how they do it but everything was very light and airy. Nothing felt heavy. This was awesome but ended bad because I ate 4 cupcakes. Hahaha. We got text messages from friends and family who also said their cupcakes were amazing. There are sooooo many options to choose from, all of which were equally delicious. Patty’s Cakes is going to be the go to for all future events! The cupcakes and customer service are WORLD CLASS. My birthday cake was awesome. Super light sponge with lemon and raspberry filling, whipped cream frosting (is there any other kind?). My son and his wife’s wedding cake was made by Patty’s Cakes and we are now confirmed customers. The most delish “store bought” cakes ever! Thank you for making my 76th birthday special with that cake.
