Ordered cupcakes for my sister’s birthday to be delivered at her hotel upon check-in. I live in Boston, so I called to make sure that this was all feasible and the rep I spoke to could not have been kinder. She was so helpful & walked me through the whole thing. They wrapped the box w a bow & added a little card with my birthday note to make it extra special. The cupcakes arrived in perfect condition & my sister said they tasted amazing! They now have dessert for the weekend! It’s hard being away from family for special days, so I truly appreciate Patty’s Cakes making this birthday surprise so special for my sister!

I became a customer before I even tasted their cupcakes. I started going to Patty’s Cakes to pick up a cupcake for coworkers or friends for their birthdays. I did that for about a year before I actually ate one. Oh My Gosh!!! The frosting is light and fluffy, which is great for me as I usually wipe off buttercream frosting and only eat the cake. Not these. The cake is moist and flavorful. Their shop is very clean, which I happen to like any place I buy food. My favorite flavor is the banana cake with peanut butter frosting. Yum! They also have cakes, cookies, cake balls, and Thrifty ice cream. Closed Sundays.

Patty’s Cakes is definitely the right place to go for baked goods. Their cupcakes are not only pleasing to the eye but also creamy and delicious. I love that when I had a birthday reward they put a little happy birthday decoration on top of my cupcake. It was very sweet and thoughtful. I’m positive that this was not my last trip to Patty’s Cakes!

The only time I ever break Keto is for a special occasion. This weekend, one of my staff members will be celebrating a birthday and I wanted to do a little something special for her. I received an online offer that I couldn’t possibly pass up; buy 2 cupcakes, get 2 free!! So I found out what her favorite flavor was and asked my other co-worker what she wanted. We also decided to get another co-worker of ours a cupcake.
I absolutely love the set up of the bakery; it was so bright and cheerful. What I got: two red velvet with chocolate chip mousse cupcakes, one chocolate with strawberry mousse cake, and a chocolate caramel salty cupcake. The chocolate caramel salty was for me.
So I mentioned that I am on Keto; this means that I had to give up sugar. I have had sugar here and there but for the most part, I’ve given it up. Trust me when I tell you that I can tell when something is really sweet. The cake itself was not overly sweet as was the frosting. And when you get a combination of both, it was divine!! The other thing worth noting was that the cupcake WAS NOT dry. It was so moist and yummy!!
I’m thinking that I really want to get some more cupcakes for the rest of the office before we leave on winter break.
Also, the woman at the counter who helped me was so sweet!! Thank you for your assistance!!
