I have nothing but great things to say about Patty’s Cakes from the tasting to the day of! The cake was as delicious as we remembered when we picked our flavors! I cannot recommend them enough, you won’t regret it!

[Review] Delicious Wedding Cake Tasting Experience in Fullerton

I had my cake tasting for my wedding yesterday at 4pm. They made the process so seamless. First of all the tasting is free, so I was already excited because who doesn’t love free cake!
So they take you to a private consultation room where there’s a wall of display cakes with different designs and sizes. I was then walked through the process. We talked about flavors. While she was whipping up the frostings and prepare the cupcakes, she had me look through a book to get an idea for the design of the cake. Then I was able to try the cakes. They were so moist and the frosting was light and fluffy. Lastly we talked about pricing. She priced out different options for me as I was considering a two tiered cake with cupcakes. She let me know it would be way more cost effective to do a sheet cake with a 3 tiered vs the 2 tiered cake with cupcakes.
I really appreciate that she gave me all options and didn’t just try to get me to buy the most expensive option. I also loved the variety of flavor combinations as well. I was able to combine two different fillings.
I also think it’s important to note that I was recommended by 3 different people to Patty’s Cakes.

A wedding meant for 75 with all 75 loving the cake!
Patty’s not only made our cake but delivered in more than enough time for our florist to decorate! The cake was beautiful but that’s not what the real talk of the town was it was the taste matched with the texture the perfect cake. We went in for our cake tasting to patty’s met with real estate level professionalism and came out with an A plus cake. The frosting is something I usually avoid and I couldn’t get enough. The cake was a hit even amongst cake haters in our party. The price is reasonable, the professionalism a plus and the taste and texture out of this world equates to the cherry on top of your perfect day!

Me and my now husband used Patty’s Cakes for our wedding. It was actually the first thing we did for the wedding. We didn’t even look at any other bakeries because we already loved Patty’s!! We had so much fun cake tasting and choosing our perfect combo of cake and flavors. We chose chocolate and lemon cake for our two tiers and raspberry filling. It was amazing and our guests still rave about it! We still get Patty’s pretty regularly for birthdays and special occasions and the occasional treat. Highly recommend Patty’s for your next event or special occasion!!

We had a cake tasting and the service was very timely, with many options to chose from. Jacqueline was very accommodating with our questions and if we wanted to try different options. Everything was very professional and we didn’t feel rushed. Not to mention, the cakes were very delicious, making it hard to choose. I’m not too fond of frosting/icing so I especially appreciated the main frosting for the outside of the cake; the texture was very light and didn’t taste too sugary.

Probably the BEST cake maker in terms of flavor, light whipped dressing, and cake texture which is MOIST. Always check their calendar for their closed days. Otherwise cake tasting was to the point which they do cupcake style but it was a great way to test the fillings. I cant wait to order more cakes from them for birthdays in the future. Patty’s is truly quality. Also asians would go crazy for this place, i know because im filipino and elders always say “we dont like too sweet,” but they ate all our leftover cake the next couple of days after our wedding! give them a try. We also opted for 2 tiers and 1-2 (maybe) sheetcakes and 1 dozen vegan cupcakes for a total of $420 (for 140 people) which included delivery. They will work with your budget but they also have minimums. 10/10 will recommend.
