I ordered my wedding cake here and it came out absolutely beautiful. I loved it. Everyone at my wedding loved it as well. It not only looked amazing, but it tasted amazing! I love this place! We go all the time for cupcakes, cookies etc. I would definitely recommend this place.

This review is a few months overdue but well deserved.
We came across Patty’s when I was in a frantic search for our wedding cake this past October. Three weeks out I realized we had no cake! My first thought was… eh, we don’t need one…but my gut said…wait..you never pass up a cake, what are you thinking?
So after countless inquiries with other bakeries that wanted to charge us our first born (understandably so, we were down to the wire) or who just wouldn’t./couldn’t take our order, I came across Patty’s. Our reception was in Uptown Whittier and they are in Fullerton, I thought it would be a bit of a stretch but they told us they can do it.
I had never heard of them, seen them, knew anyone that used them….I put my trust in Yelp (as I have many times before) and was not let down.
I didn’t have time to visit, I never even called them…I did everything via email and was able to pay on their website. It really did make the whole process very convenient if you’re not necessarily close or just can’t fit it in..or are last minute…like me.
I dealt with Bethany and although I never met her or spoke to her, her tone in emails was very sweet and she had many great suggestions for a cake style/preference we wanted to go with all while keeping us under budget…because let’s face it..when you’re 3 weeks away from your wedding…you’ve pretty much spent every penny…and then some!
Our venue offered a faux cake, so we only needed a 6×6 square top to cut into, we ordered red velvet with the traditional cream cheese frosting. NOTE: They do something special with their frosting…but trust me when I tell you that it’s good! We also order 2 sheet cakes, 1 chocolate cake with vanilla Bavarian cream and the other vanilla cake with raspberry Bavarian cream.
I knew we lucked out when a gal pal of mine was in the area and stopped in to pick up a few cupcakes and brought them over….we had a mini cake tasting per say and we were very satisfied with what we had. My favorite part is that nothing was overly sweet. Just right. The cake was moist and fluffy and the frosting was so light and airy.
I must recommend Patty’s because they’re customer service was just top notch and the cake was more than what I expected.

Patty’s Cakes was included in our wedding package and we really didn’t know what to expect. Let me just say, they really exceeded our expectations from the day of the tasting to our wedding day, they were so great to work with. Our cake was a delicious hit with our guests and it was absolutely more beautiful than I imagined it would be.

Patty’s Cakes is an excellent place to treat yourself to a yummy dessert and book your special occasion cake! My fiance and I loved their cakes, as well as fillings. It was so hard to choose which one because they are all so delicious! Professional and welcoming staff, who answered all of our questions. Can’t wait to taste our wedding cake in a few months!

We hired patty’s cakes to make our wedding cake in September. Throughout the wedding planning, the cake was one of the worse things I had luck with. I had heard about Patty’s through the venues bridal expo. We called and they were half the price of what another bakery quoted me. So we went a tasting and were SOLD! Patty and her team were so nice and communicative through the planning process. I was so happy how the cake came out and the guests really liked it as well! I had sent her a picture of the invite to match the cake the theme and they had decorated it perfectly! We would definitely recommend patty’s cakes! I will certainly use them again for another occasion. Thanks, Patty!!
