The BEST cupcakes! Always go here if I want cupcakes. The flavors are very good and the cake is moist. The Red Velvet and Chocolate Caramel Salty are my favorite! Enjoyed the Chocolate Chipper too because the crispy salty chips contrast well with the sweet chocolate flavor.
Their cake balls are good too but not worth it since they’re the same price as the cupcakes. The service has always been great here and the workers are friendly.

I’ve been wanting to try this place forever, but it always seems like I remember this place on Sundays… when they are closed haha.
I’m so happy I finally got to try this place!! Their cake balls are amazing!!! The best I have ever tried!!! There are times when I eat cupcakes/ cake balls and I can’t really distinguish the flavor. Usually the bread part is bland and you can only tell the flavor from the heavy frosting, but here…. wow. Seriously, the bread is so moist and flavorful.
With the Yelp check-in, it is buy 3 get one free which made the total to $9 for 4.
I ate all 4 in one sitting…. I wish they were open today (Sunday) hahaha

This is one of those instances where Yelpers get it right! This place definitely lives up to the hype.
The first time I ordered from Patty’s Cakes was for a cake for a going-away party. I had never even tasted anything from here but gave it a chance based on the rave reviews. Seeing how there was going to be a lot of GF guests, I ordered the GF chocolate cake with strawberry mousse. AMAZING! Soooo moist and perfectly sweet. I ordered here again for an anniversary party – this time I ordered their cupcakes (chocolate with strawberry mousse, white with chocolate mousse, piña colada, pumpkin, and red velvet). Again, absolutely amazing – ALL of it. The guests were asking me for the name of the bakery! (You’re welcome, Patty’s.)
I will continue ordering here as long as they keep making wonderful cakes. :D

We learned about this establishment from a good friend of ours who highly recommended the place. I also read reviews from Yelp and so my fiance and I went and checked the place out. Mind you, we needed our wedding cake in a week. Philip helped us and in 20 minutes we had picked out our cake and we were happy with what we chose. We are so happy Philip was able to deliver on the cake in such a short amount of time. And best of all, the cake was very delicious. Our guests had nothing but praise for our cake which put the “icing” on our already beautiful wedding. Thank you Philip and Patty from Patty’s cakes. God bless you!

Well, the first time I did a review, it didn’t appear, so I will redo and add for the other cupcakes I got since. Last time was last week, I got the Pina Colada, with Coconut frosting, white cake with pineapple filling. Because I wanted to get the bus yet wanted to also eat, I ate outside (missed the first bus, anyhow), which I do not recommend on a windy day. My cupcake blew off the little table, but I ate it anyway (though lost my tiny decorative umbrella/parasol off my cupcake). Santa Ana winds are something to factor in! I enjoyed it a lot; have not been disappointed yet in flavor and moistness. I have not liked cupcakes from other places –they are too dry (Hapcake was OK, though didn’t really have a liquor flavor). I also liked the other cupcakes I’ve had at other times: when they could find my Yelp! review, the nice girl gave me a free cupcake anyway (and everytime lately, I get a buy one get one free coupon, which I had better use). That day I tried Lemon Razzle, because I wanted to taste lemon and raspberry together. That is a great combination, and the cream filling was just right. Before, the first time, I ordered white cake with Mint chip mousse, a favorite of mine and will have again. The texture and moistness and flavor of mousse frosting is outstanding. I also had cake balls –S’Mores was good and so was whatever else I had, but I like the cupcakes better because of the moistness. I also had another cupcake, Eclaire which was good too. I think I will try the peanut butter next, Neapolitan, banana split chocolate chipper and butter pecan.

I only bought 1. The eclair, which had tons of flavor in the frosting and the cupcake was moist, but there was something missing from its neighbor, Hapa cupcakes. But they have a way better variety. WAYYY better.
They’re both way better than the ones you and I could make.
They do take some time to get your cupcake, which I may suspect is because they make the bottom pre-made and the top is where its made-to-order. The lady was also kind enough to include a B1G1 free card in the box of the one cupcake I had.

I’ve driven by dozens of times and finally stopped in to check it out. I was expecting to see rows and rows of cupcakes but instead some small, ball-shaped cakes are displayed, some wedding cakes and shelves of decorative items. The sales lady showed me how to order (from a large menu on the wall behind the counter). There are many choices but my favorite flavor (from another cupcake place) wasn’t on the menu. I asked the sales lady, ” Do you have something similar to a Strawberry Lemonade flavor?” She could have just politely said “no sorry we don’t”. Instead, to my surprise, she said ” We can make something like that for you!” I said, “Right now?” she said “Yes!”. I’m very happy because I’m sure she isn’t the owner here, she didn’t have to do this, but she went beyond her way just trying to accommodate the customer. For this alone, I’d give the place a “yay!
The reason I give 4 stars is because the decorations on the cupcakes can be a little more attractive, creative, colorful…etc. All the cream is piped the same way with a little sugar sprinkles on top. I’ve had much more creatively decorated ones, so it’s a little boring here. Another reason is that, the cupcakes, although very fresh, has just a little too much cream. The cream is very light, but it’s almost 2 inches tall, so it feels like toppling over from the cupcake (heavier top than bottom). It’s true that I’d rather have more cream than not enough, but still, I had to remove a little cream for the balance in tastes otherwise it’s an overkill for me.
I will definitely return though when I drive by in the future. They are the freshest cupcakes I’ve ever had by no means.

This place is awesome! I bought 3 different cupcakes and a cake ball and they were all delicious! The flavors were lemon raspberry, peanut butter and jelly, banana, and a s’mores cake ball. I loved all of them, and Patty’s gives out coupons and they have a great check-in offer. Like others have said, the cake balls are really big and they’re very moist and dense. They’re the perfect size and indulgence for a satisfying dessert.
I’m such an indecisive person but the guy behind the counter was very patient with me as I stared with my jaw dropped at their huge wall of flavors. The cake balls are behind a glass counter at the front but they frost the cupcakes in the back as soon as you order them. They also offer free fruit infused water and a table to sit at while you’re waiting. Patty’s is great – I’ll definitely keep them in mind the next time I need a cake or cupcakes for an event. They do weddings, too.

Just ordered two dozen “spur-of-the-moment” assorted cupcakes for a birthday. Not only was every flavor on the menu available, but the owner, not another employee, helped me with making some awesome choices.
As for the taste? There’s a reason for the 5-star rating. Every person at the party enjoyed the cupcakes. Both adults and kids alike. My faves…either of the red velvets, lemon drop and PB&J..yum!!
The best part is that each cupcake was frosted upon order, not earlier in the day. Which, in my humble opinion, makes for a better tasting cake. They were moist and flavorful. One might not like the little wait u endure when u order, since they frost “to order”, but the free citrus water makes up for it!!

Had the mint chocolate chip cupcake and it was so moist and tender, unlike other cupcakes I have had in the past at different bakeries. They have such an incredible assortment that I’m going back to start sampling my way through their whole menu! lol
